Art, dance collaboration returns to LAAC

The Lakeville Area Arts Center, in conjunction with Ballet Royale Minnesota, will present the third annual “An Evening of Art and Dance” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10.

The evening is a collaboration of local visual artists and choreographers sharing interpretations of selected pieces of artwork.

The visual artists and choreographers will present and discuss the meaning behind the pieces, followed by a variety of dances inspired by the featured artwork.

Following the program will be a complimentary coffee hour to meet the artists, choreographers and dancers.

The artwork will be on display for viewing in the Lakeville Area Arts Center gallery Feb. 1-14.  The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ticket are $10 and are available at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Ave.  Advance purchase is recommended. For tickets or additional information, call (952) 985-4640.
