Burnsville State of the City Address set Feb. 16

Burnsville’s annual State of the City Address is set Feb. 16 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center, 12600 Nicollet Ave.

The keynote speech given by Mayor Elizabeth Kautz is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. and is open to the public. The mayor’s speech will touch on Burnsville’s focus to stay economically competitive as well as maintaining quality-of-life amenities that attract both businesses and families.

A luncheon will follow at the performing arts center. The luncheon is open to the public at a cost of $25 per person. Preregistration is required at least 24 hours in advance.

The State of the City is presented annually by the city of Burnsville and the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce. Advance registration is available through the Chamber of Commerce website at www.burnsvillechamber.com. Registration questions should be directed to the chamber at (952) 435-6000.
