Growing Through Loss program starts new series March 1
An inter-denominational coalition of south suburban churches will offer Growing Through Loss presentations in a four-week series at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville.
Sessions include:
• Thursday, March 1, “Weaving in the Threads of Loss,” presented by Patricia Richardson, clinical social worker and family therapist.
• Thursday, March 8, “Finding God in the Midst of Grief,” presented by the Rev. Paul Jarvis, pastor, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rosemount.
• Thursday, March 15, “Loss, Grief and Forgiveness,” presented by Martha Alken, speaker and retreat leader.
• Thursday, March 22, “Growing Through Memory Loss,” presented by Tom and Julie Allen, who will share their story on living with Alzheimer’s.
Registration: 6:30 p.m. Speaker: 6:55 p.m. Support groups (facilitated by trained leaders), 8 p.m. Donation per session: $3.
