Farmington police are looking for a male suspect believed to have shown children pornographic images from his phone.
According to Police Chief Brian Lindquist, Monday around 5:30 p.m. officers responded to two separate reports of a man approaching children asking them if they wanted to see something.
When the children approached him, he allegedly showed them a pornographic picture on his phone and made further comments.
The alleged incidents occurred in the area of 182nd Street and Emerald Trail and on the 4800 block of 189th Street.
Based on witness descriptions, police are looking for a white male with a visible tattoo on a bald or shaven head. The vehicle is described as a gray or tan truck with an American flag and an Eagle covering the back window.
Anyone who sees a vehicle or suspect matching the description is asked to report it to 911.
Farmington police are urging parents to warn children against unsafe habits when dealing with strangers.
