Dakota United drops PI final 7-2 to finish in 2nd place

Dakota United center Grayson Nicolay fires a shot past an Anoka-Hennepin defender in a 8-4 win in the semifinals of the 2012  PI Adapted Floor Hockey State Tournament at Bloomington Jefferson on March 17. The Hawks went on to face Robbinsdale/Hopkins/Mound/Westonka in the finals. Dakota United held the lead at 2-1 in the 1st period before the Robins took the lead for good in the 2nd period. Dakota United was in its tenth state championship appearance in the PI Division.
