Car club rolls into Eagan
Classic car collectors will soon have a place to store and work on their prized possessions.
The Eagan City Council on April 17 approved rezoning six acres to allow a car club off Diffley Road and Highway 3 in Eagan.
“We’re glad to be moving forward with this,” said Kurt Manley, founder of the Eagan Car Club.
According to plans submitted to the city, the property will include a club house and 76 vehicle units for members to store their cars in.
Owners of each unit will be able to customize each unit.
Neighbors had expressed concerns about drainage, noise and lights at a recent Planning Commission meeting. Most of those issues have been resolved, said City Planner Mike Ridley.
Manley reassured city officials that a purchase agreement will set rules that prohibit people from staying overnight.

I’m interested in possibly purchasing a space in the soon to be built Eagan Car Club facility. Please let me know who I can contact for more information on a purchase. I’m an Eagan resident.
