Lakeville seniors activities

Pre-paid funeral appointments
Arnold Zach will be available for 30-minute appointments from 10 a.m. to noon on May 7. Sign up at the senior center. One punch per visit.
Diners Club
Both singles and couples are invited to dine out on May 10 at Morgan’s in Burnsville. Meet at the restaurant at 5 p.m. Sign up by May 8 so reservations can be made.
Motorcycle Club
This club is for men and women age 50 and older. Members will go on a short ride on the second Thursday of each month, and a long ride on the fourth Thursday. All rides will leave the senior center at 10 a.m. The first ride on May 10 will be to the Lion’s Tap in Eden Prairie.
New this year is a Saturday breakfast ride at 9 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month. Riders are to meet at the senior center parking lot. Scheduled Saturday rides are:
• May 19, Hastings, American Legion
• June 16, Belle Plaine, Emma Krumbee’s
• July 21, Hudson, Key’s Restaurant
• Aug. 18, Faribault, restaurant to be determined
• Sept. 15, destination to be determined
Brown bag medication
Pharmacists will be at the senior center at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, to check prescription and non-prescription medications for potential problems, offer tips for safe and effective medication use, and answer any questions. Sign up by May 11. Cost is one punch.
Blue Man Group
See the Blue Man Group on Saturday, June 23, at the Orpheum Theater. Leave the senior center at 12:45 p.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $78. Deadline: May 15.
Twins at Target Field
Arrive at Target Field at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, to see the Minnesota Twins play the Chicago White Sox; game time is 12:10 p.m. Leave the senior center at 10 a.m. and return at approximately 4:30 p.m. Cost is $50 payable by May 21.
