Kids ’n Kinship receives grant

Kids ’n Kinship, Apple Valley, has received a $750 grant from the 3M Foundation in recognition of 3M volunteers Sarah Gerber, Jon Gerber and Lanny Stapp.

As volunteer mentors, the Gerbers are each matched with a child needing support and guidance.

Stapp is on the Kids ’n Kinship volunteer board of directors, is responsible for getting the organization’s newsletter to participants and supporters, and has mentored two boys over the last several years.
