Maine Conservation Corps welcomes Burnsville man

The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) recently welcomed Brent Smith of Burnsville to serve as a team member and AmeriCorps volunteer for the summer season.

Smith is the son of Wendy and Michael Smith of River Falls, WI. The MCC conducts conservation projects throughout the state of Maine, including extensive recreational trail construction and rehabilitation. Smith is a 2000 graduate of Burnsville High School and attended Hamline University where he studied English. This season he will serve on a crew of three to seven members and undertake several trails projects across the state of Maine.
