UPDATE: Rosemount man dies after motorcycle crash

A 58-year-old Rosemount man died on Saturday at about 9 p.m. when the motorcycle he was driving left the roadway of Highway 3 near 160th Street in Rosemount.

James J. Schillinger was driving a 2008 Honda Roadstart motorcycle without a helmet and alcohol was detected in Schillinger’s system, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the crash.

Funeral arrangements for Schillinger, formerly of Marquette, Mich., will be announced by the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home of Marquette.
