Schouweiler leads national committee

Dakota County Commissioner Nancy Schouweiler, a member of the National Association of Counties Board of Directors, was elected to chair the NACo Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee at the directors meeting held July 17. NACo is the only national organization representing county government.

Schouweiler is the 2012 Dakota County Board chair. She has been on the board since 1999 and served as board chair in 2008 and in 2004. She represents District 4, which includes the cities of Eagan Precincts 8, 13-17, Inver Grove Heights Precincts 2-7, and Rosemount Precincts 1-2, 4, 6-7.
