Dakota County Dairy Princess Maggie Stiles, from Lakeville, competed in the Midwest Dairy Association’s coronation of the 59th Princess Kay of the Milky Way at the Mi
nnesota State Fair Band Shell on August 22. Eleven dairy princesses from around the state were nominated, but only one, Christine Reitsma from Stearns County was crowned Princess Kay of the Milky Way. Stiles will have her head carved in butter at the Minnesota State Fair Dairy Building sometime next week. Maggie’s parents are Mike and Tina Stiles. Photos by Rick Orndorf
