Dakota County well represented at Minnesota State Fair

Dakota County was well represented all over the Minnesota State Fair grounds on opening day, August 23. Law enforcement officials from the Dakota County Sheriffs Department and Rosemount Police Department handled crowds at the 2 p.m. parade. Rosemount High School Irish Marching Band, the Minnesota Zoo, and Dance-Twirl Minnesota in Eagan were marching in the daily parade. Art work from artists in Eagan and Burnsville were on display up at the Art Building on Machinery Hill.  Photos by Rick Orndorf
