Highway 52 lane closures planned for Sept. 24

Motorists traveling along Highway 52 near Hampton will encounter delays and lane closures near County Road 47 on Monday, Sept. 24.

Southbound Highway 52 will be reduced to a single lane beginning at 5 a.m. and northbound will be reduced to a single lane beginning at 9 a.m.

The lane closures are necessary as crews construct a culvert beneath the roadway.

All lanes are scheduled to reopen by Oct. 5.

This work is part of a larger project that when complete, will have two full Highway 52 interchanges – one at County Road 47, and one at Highway 50. The dual interchanges will improve safety, and create an effective local and regional transportation system.
