Book launch event for ‘The Last Lightning’ in Rosemount
The launch party for Craig MacIntosh’s “The Last Lightning” will be held at the Apple Valley American Legion at 14521 Granada Drive in Apple Valley on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
In MacIntosh’s story, readers learn a plane went down in Paupa New Guinea during World War II that was carrying cargo worth millions of dollars. A woman who had befriended the granddaughter of the pilot pretends to be her in order to gain access to the wreckage. Her plan is to remove the precious cargo from the plane without anyone’s knowledge, but can she pull it off… and is it even still there?
Author Craig MacIntosh lives in Rosemount. In addition to being an author, he is the artist for the widely published cartoon strip, “Sally Forth,” which now appears in over 600 newspapers.
