The new clubhouse at Valleywood Golf Course in Apple Valley opened this fall after about a year of construction.

The $3.2 million facility boasts a pro shop, bar and grill, downstairs cart storage area, and a main dining room with seating for about 150 people.

The city-run golf course’s old clubhouse, which was built in 1980 and had been showing structural defects in recent years, has been demolished.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new clubhouse was held Sept. 27.
