Lunch ‘N Learn About Employee Volunteer Opportunities
Dakota County is home to two charities that have been adopted by AAA employees this year: Cheerful Givers and Kids N Kinship both seek to enhance the lives of young people in different ways.
Cheerful Givers provides birthday bags through food shelves and homeless shelters to children who may not otherwise have their birthday recognized, and Kids ‘n Kinship is a mentoring program providing role models to youth who might not have many positive role models in their lives.
Companies looking to start or enhance a community-based employee volunteer program or looking to start a charitable giving program should plan to attend a free pizza lunch from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 at the AAA office in Burnsville.
