Group seeks input on school funding reform

Members of the Minnesota Education Finance Work Group will hold a listening session at Falcon Ridge Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, to present their recommendations on how to reform the way schools are funded in Minnesota and to take feedback on their ideas.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

District 196 School Board Treasurer Art Coulson was selected by the Commissioner of Education to be a member of the work group, which began meeting last year.

The listening session will be held in the lower-level multi-purpose room at Falcon Ridge, 12900 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, (park in back).
