National Memory Screening Day coming to Burnsville

Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s 10th Annual National Memory Screening Day comes to Senior Helpers of Burnsville, which is proud to offer the free, confidential memory screenings to the public in Burnsville.

This will take place on Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Senior Helpers, Burnsville Office, at 1500 McAndrews Road, Burnsville.

National Memory Screening Day is an annual initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America that emphasizes the importance of proper detection and treatment of memory problems, as well as educates the public about successful aging and resources.

A qualified healthcare professional will administer the face to face memory screening, which takes 5-10 minutes and consist of questions and/or tasks designed to test memory, language skills and other intellectual functions.
