Thank you to voters
To the editor:
I would like to thank the citizens of Burnsville for electing me to the Burnsville City Council. I am humbled to have received so many votes. From the beginning, I knew it would be difficult to overcome name recognition or lack of it. So I reached out to our city leaders for their advice. Then I proceeded to campaign in all 17 precincts going door to door asking for votes and distributing door hangers. Along the way, I met with so many wonderful people. I am grateful to have won, but it was the journey that was truly life enriching.
I would like to thank my family and friends for their unconditional support. But most of all, I would like to thank all of my supporters for believing in me and placing their trust in me. I pledge to always be considerate and respectful and to serve all citizens of Burnsville with humility and without prejudice.
