Teen poetry jam/rap battle slated Dec. 4
The Apple Valley Teen Center will hold the Poetry Jam/Rap Battle open mic for teen artists ages 12 to 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4. The free event includes a creative writing session with two-time National Poetry Slam champion Guante, a snack, door prizes and live performances. Must have a school ID and love poetry and rap.
