Youth collect ‘old shoes’ for recycling

One of the eighth-grade religion classes at St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Savage sponsored an “old shoe” collection. They hoped for 250 pairs but response was overwhelming and they ended up with more than 1,200 pairs which were sorted to go to Burnsville Recycles.
