Bullying event set Dec. 4 at Kenwood Trail

“Stand Up to Bullying/Harassment” will be presented by Climb Theatre for parents, educators and students in grades four and above from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the auditorium at Kenwood Trail Middle School.

The audience will witness the harm that harassment and bullying can have on a person and a community. Through activities, discussions and role-plays, bullying and its effects are brought to life. Attendees will learn the importance of being an active bystander and how to stop others from bullying.

Following the play will be a question-and-answer session and refreshments. Lakeville apparel will be for sale. A free-will donation will be accepted.

The event is sponsored by the Lakeville Special Education Advisory Council and Lakeville Area Community Education. For more information, call Sherri Sergent at (952) 232-3849.
