Avery Pierce, daughter of Cheryl and Kevin Pierce of Lakeville, graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in animation. She is a 2008 graduate of Lakeville North High School.
Kelly Almquist of Lakeville is the recipient of the Leadership Scholarship from Kansas State University Foundation for the 2012-13 academic year.
Taylor Nelson of Lakeville, a freshman at the University of North Dakota, is interning as a news reporter with Studio One, an award-winning television show produced at UND. Nelson, daughter of Amanda and Tony Nelson, is a graduate of Lakeville South.
