Adult literacy program seeks volunteers

Dakota Prairie Adult Basic Education is seeking volunteers to tutor English as a second language (ESL) and basic skills for adults. Free classes are available to adults and include reading, writing, math and basic vocabulary and conversation in English.

English classes are held from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Basic skills classes are offered from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. Mondays and from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Thursdays. Training is available.

Classes are held in room 201 of the Instructional Service Center (ISC), 510 Walnut St., Farmington.
