Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, culinology student Anna Phillips of Apple Valley is featured in a Silver Spring Foods video at www.silverspringfoods.com. Phillips created a pizza and gluten-free salad utilizing the company’s chipotle mustard.

Adam Jackson, a 2012 graduate of Rosemount High School, recently finished his first semester at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He completed six weeks of basic training in Colorado within weeks of graduating from RHS and started college at the academy immediately after basic training. Jackson was recently awarded the Superintendent’s Pin for his achievements in academics, military, and athletics for his efforts during his first semester. He is also a wrestler at the academy.
