Dakota County converts to Next Generation 911
Dakota County has upgraded to Next Generation 911 (NG911), a new system that will help 911 dispatchers and emergency responders provide help to residents more efficiently.
When fully developed, NG911 will allow 911 callers to send text, photos, video, medical information, vehicle crash data, building plans and more.
