Apply to be Farmington royalty
Applications are currently being accepted through Feb. 18 for the 2013 Farmington Royalty Coronation to be held at 7 p.m. on June 11 at Boeckman Middle School.
Royalty are involved in community activities such as the Yellow Ribbon Network, the Royalty’s Annual Spaghetti Feed, and Feed My Starving Children. Every girl involved as a candidate is required to give community service hours.
New this year will be a $2,000 scholarship for Miss Farmington.
Royalty age groups are:
• Little Miss Farmington – second and third grade.
• Jr. Miss Farmington – sixth, seventh and eighth grade.
• Miss Farmington – On or before June 30, 2014, candidates must be between 18 and 20 years of age and have graduated from high school.
Applications can be submitted online at farmingtonroyalty.com or can be downloaded and turned into City Hall.
Candidates may also register on site at the Farmington Expo on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Farmington High School.
