Jan. 26 town hall meeting set in Burnsville
State Reps. Sandra Masin, DFL-Eagan and Burnsville, Will Morgan, DFL-Burnsville, and Sen. Jim Carlson, DFL-Eagan and Burnsville, will hold a town hall meeting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Burnsville City Hall, 100 Civic Center Parkway, Burnsville.
House chief fiscal analyst Bill Marx will give a short presentation on the state budget before the legislators open up the meeting for questions and discussion.
Minnesota is facing a $1.1 billion budget deficit and still owes its K-12 schools another $1.1 billion.
