Farmington U12 teams tear it up at Duluth Icebreaker

 Both 12A and 12B win tournament titles

No. 3-ranked Farmington U12A hockey team won it all at the Duluth Icebreaker Invitational hockey tournament last weekend. The 24-team tournament field included 17 of the top 20 teams in the state and the Tigers defeated both No. 2-ranked Shakopee and No. 1 ranked Edina on their way to their championship. It was Edina’s first loss in 52 games.

The Farmington U12-B girls hockey team also won the prestigious, 16-team Duluth Icebreaker Invitational hockey tournament. The team had to come up with 5 wins in three days including a 1 – 0 victory over previously unbeaten Stillwater.
