Eagan man pleads guilty in attempt to film teen nude
An Eagan man faces up to two years in prison for filming a 15-year-old girl taking a shower.
Robert Zieper, 51, pleaded guilty today in Dakota County Court to felony interference with privacy against a minor.
According to the criminal complaint, Zieper drilled a hole in a tissue box cover and placed his cell phone inside to record a 15-year-old relative undress before taking a shower.
The girl noticed a light coming from the box and found the phone inside. She noticed the phone was running a mobile application that allowed live video to stream to a personal computer.
The following day, the girl reported the incident to her mother, who then called police.
Zieper’s sentencing hearing is April 9 in Hastings.
