Lakeville jazz band event set for March 1
Everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of big-band entertainment and support a good cause March 1 in Lakeville.
The Good News Big Band will perform at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 10658 210th Street West, this Friday from 7-8 p.m.
Described as “very entertaining,” the Good News Big Band performs traditional big band swing, Latin style and other big band jazz charts.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
Funds raised support the Lakeville police Chaplaincy Services program, a nonprofit.
The chaplaincy program provides counseling and support to local police officers who work long difficult hours and frequently are called to confront difficult situations that have included domestic abuse and suicide.
