Police probe BB gun car vandalisms

Police in Apple Valley are advising residents to park their vehicles in the garage after receiving multiple reports of vandalism to vehicles over the weekend.

Officers responded to six such reports on Sunday, March 3, and in all the cases, victims reported that the back windows of their vehicles had been broken out overnight but nothing had been taken.

A BB gun appeared to have been used in at least two of the incidents, police said.

In a “News Flash” posted on the city’s website Monday, police advised: “Please park your vehicles in your garage if you have one and watch out for suspicious behavior in your neighborhoods. Report anything to 911 immediately.”
