Northview Elementary project helps feed children in Africa

Parent volunteers, students, and staff at Northview Elementary were busy packing meals as part of an all-school service learning project to help feed starving children in Africa on March 15.  The ImpactLives organization came to Northview with the food the school had purchased through various student and community fundraisers.  The fundraising goal was $8,500.00.  Northview students packed meals in 45-minutes shifts throughout the day. The day will culminate with all students attending an assembly where photos of the day will be shown, and the results of how many meals were packed. Photos by Rick Orndorf
