Two Burnsville High School students have had their designs chosen for display on the interior panels of Minnesota Valley Transit Authority buses. Sophomore Suraj Shah and senior Mackenzie Hearnen submitted the winning entries in the themes school spirit and transit, respectively. Along with having their art displayed, they will each receive a $25 gift card to Best Buy.
Students used Adobe Photoshop to create the panels as part of the Interactive Design and Application Development class at Burnsville High School, taught by Tyler Krebs.
The project is part of a strategic partnership between the MVTA and area schools. Cornerstone Copy Center also participated by producing the panels for a reduced price. MVTA is the public transportation provider for the businesses and residents of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Rosemount and Savage.
