Walk for Angelman syndrome is May 18 in Lakeville

The 2013 Angelman Syndrome Foundation National Walk will be held Saturday, May 18, at Valley Lake Park, 16050 Garrett Path, Lakeville. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

Angelman syndrome is a neurological disorder that is largely misdiagnosed as autism or cerebral palsy. People with AS have difficulty walking and sleeping. Most people with Angelman syndrome cannot speak and require care for their entire lives.
