Stute has more than 20 years of chamber experience
The Dakota County Regional Chamber has named Vicki Stute as the organization’s new president.
“Vicki is seen as an industry pro,” DCR Chamber Board Chair Michele Engdahl said in a written statement. “Vicki is well-known in the Minnesota chamber community and is often looked to for her strong leadership.”
Stute, who will begin June 1, currently serves as president of the Angel Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps adults with cancer and their families.
Though she has worked in the nonprofit field for a number of years, Stute has extensive chamber of commerce background.
Stute began her career as a staff member at the South St. Paul/Inver Grove Heights Chamber of Commerce (renamed the River Heights Chamber of Commerce).
Between 1991 and 1997, Stute held a number of leadership positions at the Twin West Chamber of Commerce, including executive vice president and interim president.
Stute served as president and CEO at the Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce from 1994 to 1996.
In 1997, Stute joined the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce where she served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and as interim president until 2007.
While there, she helped the organization become the largest local and regional chamber in Minnesota.
