Age 59, of Rosemount, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, September 23rd after a battle with cancer. Preceded in death by daughter Kristine and father-in-law Teunis. Survived by wife Hendrina, children Britany (Ted), Aaron (Michelle), and Andrea (Dean), parents Darwin and Arlene, sisters Donette, Deanne, and Denise (Doug), grandchildren Emelia and Lauren, mother-in-law Tine, and many other relatives and friends.
Dawson was a long-term employee of Cray Research/Silicon Graphics and volunteer in the Rosemount hockey programs; his love of family, books, and coffee was unmatched. You could often find him in a library or coffee shop around town and he was always willing to share his goofy sense of humor and infectious smile. He also had an uncanny ability to find quarters behind your ear.
Celebration of life Saturday, Oct 12th from 12-4 PM at Oak Terrace West Park, 12801 County Road 11, Burnsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family preferred.
