Two people found dead in Rosemount apartment

Two people were found dead by police in a Rosemount apartment building at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to a release from the department.

Officers made entry to the apartment in the 2900 block of 146th Street West after they received a request for police to check on the welfare of a couple living there.

Rosemount police say this is an active investigation with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Rosemount police say they are not actively seeking suspects and there is no risk to the community.
