Presentation in Burnsville focuses on bullying and students with disabilities

PACER Center will be in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 to make a presentation about bullying and students with disabilities.

The free event will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, in the upper level Great Room at Diamondhead Education Center, 200 W. Burnsville Parkway, Burnsville.

PACER Center is an advocacy and support organization for children with disabilities and their families. The presentation comes just after the end of National Bullying Prevention Month, during which PACER Center and other organizations united to raise awareness of bullying prevention through events, activities, outreach and education.

The event is sponsored by the District 191 Special Education Advisory Council, comprised of parents and staff members.
