Search warrant in Farmington turns up more than a pound of pot

Members of the Dakota County Drug Task Force found 14 bags containing a total of 625.46 grams of marijuana after using a search warrant in the 18200 block of Emerald Trail in Farmington in August.

Lakeville’s Michael Lewis Lantow, 27, and Farmington’s Cameron William Cain, 21, were both charged with felony possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Department last week.

Lantow was at the residence during the police search and officers found documents in Cain’s name, according to the police report.

The maximum penalty for the crimes is five years and/or a $10,000 fine.
