Police observed signs of hypothermia
Lakeville police are investigating in the death of a woman in her 30s found outside her home by family members on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of relatives, exhibited signs of possible hypothermia prior to her death , Interim Lakeville police Chief John Kornmann said in a news release.
Police were called to her home at the 17500 block of Illinois Court at 3:52 p.m., and are treating the death as suspicious until a cause can be determined.
Kornmann said they will focus on tracing the victim’s activities up to the time of her death.
More information is expected today after an autopsy is completed by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
