The PACER Center’s Children’s Mental Health and Emotional or Behavioral Disorders project will host its fourth Parent Leadership Summit on Children’s Mental Health.
The summit is 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at the PACER Center in Bloomington.
Attendees will can meet with other parents whose children suffer from mental health, emotional or behavioral challenges. They will also be updated on the progress to support and care for these children with mental health needs and learn about different opportunities for parents to influence improved supports and services for children with mental health needs.
Parents who want to go must apply online before Aug. 1. Accepted attendees who live 75 miles or more away from PACER Center are eligible to receive mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodations the evening before the Summit. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants.’
