Reward offered for information leading to arrest of Lebanon Hills vandals

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charging of individual or individuals responsible for the recent damage to trees in Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan.

Citizens notified authorities after discovering that up to 20 trees had been girdled. Someone gouged a ring around the cherry trees, which will likely lead to their deaths.

Many thousands of dollars in damage to these trees was discovered at various locations within the park.
