Curbside Cleanup Days start April 22 and provide an opportunity for city of Farmington residents to dispose of large, bulky items that don’t fit in their garbage cart. The collection dates are based on the day of the week a residence’s garbage is collected – Monday, April 22; Tuesday, April 29; Wednesday, May 6; Thursday, May 13; and Friday, May 20.
City of Farmington residential customers can participate as the cost is included in the quarterly garbage fee.
People who cannot participate are those who have a Farmington mailing address but live in Lakeville, Empire, Eureka, or Castle Rock or anyone else who doesn’t live within the city limits of Farmington. City of Farmington commercial customers also cannot participate.
Up to two appliances per household can be disposed of along with large, bulky items such as furniture and mattress/box springs.
People should not place bags, boxes, or piles of trash at the curb for Cleanup Days as they will not be picked up. Return trips for extra garbage in a cart can be scheduled any time throughout the year (651-280-6905).
