A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run, which left a 38-year-old male pedestrian injured near 15020 Glazier Ave. in Apple Valley around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
The man was given first aid at the scene and transported to the hospital where he is expected to recover from his injuries, according to a release this morning from the Apple Valley Police Department.
Witnesses to the hit-and-run reported a description of the suspect vehicle, which was driven from the scene.
After information was sent to media and the public describing the vehicle as a white SUV with front end damage, police made the arrest about noon on Sunday.
Apple Valley police and the State Patrol investigated the matter. Charges are pending in Dakota County District Court.
