The Apple Valley Police Department will host an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The family-friendly event includes building tours, vehicle displays, equipment demonstrations, and a demonstration with the department’s new K-9 officer, Duke.
